There
are probably a couple legitimate choices for Player
of the First Half, but United rb Ladainian Tomlinson's
performance in October has pushed him towards claiming
the honor. Tomlinson is not only on pace for his best
season (which was last year's 252 points), but he
on track track to make a run at Preist Holmes remarkable
2002 record of 301 points. Tomlinson has surpassed
20 points an incredible four times already this year,
and two of them were over 30 points. In his last three
games, Tomlinson has amassed 101 points (a 34 ppg
average!!), which is the most ever by a in a three
week span. Tomlinson has been the league's most dominant
rb for the past four or five years, and this has been
the most impressive start of his career.
