Free
Agency has been as vital as ever again this year,
but no pickup has been more rewarding the Tormenta
acquisition of kicker Robbie Gould. In fact (much
like draft acquisition Neil Rackers a year ago), Gould
is on pace to have a record-breaking season. At his
current pace, Gould would finish the season with 154
points, which would break the 2003 record of 149 points
by Mike Vanderjagt. Gould's most value has come in
his consistency, as he has scored at least 10 points
in all but one of his six starts this year.
Others:
Rex Grossman (328's); Desmond Clark (Tomcats); Marques
Colston (Lightning); Jerricho Cotchery (Tomcats);
Leon Washington (H); Chargers (Lightning).
